Yes, we would like to Adopt-a-Rat (first year VMI Cadet) by welcoming him or her into our home Sunday afternoons from mid-September until late January.

Please call Patty Stoneburner (845-662-6204) for more information

More Information

On August 19, new VMI Rats will arrive in Lexington for matriculation and the beginning of the Ratline. Our Grace Family has graciously provided a safe haven and much-appreciated hospitality for these young men and women by hosting them after church during the Ratline. We hope you will prayerfully consider being part of this ministry to VMI. There are only about a dozen Sundays between September 9 and Breakout (when the Ratline ends) when the Rats will be available to come to church and stay off-Post with their Host Families. Those Sundays are very important times of rest and refreshment for the Rats, and we hope you can join in ministering to them in this way.

Please note: Substitute host families are available on any Sunday when you are out of town.
